When you use the screenshot OCR feature:
- Screenshot images - Screenshots of web page areas you manually select are uploaded to our OCR server for table recognition
- Screenshots may contain content from web pages you are viewing. Please avoid capturing areas containing sensitive personal information
1.3 Locally Processed Data
The following data is processed only in your browser and is NOT uploaded to our servers:
- Web page table data - The Extension can automatically extract text-based tables (not images) from web pages. This data is cached locally in your browser for download purposes only
- User preferences - Such as language settings and remembered email
1.4 Usage Statistics
- Quota usage records - We track your daily OCR feature usage for quota management
2. How We Use Information
We use the collected information for:
- Providing account registration, login, and authentication services
- Providing screenshot OCR table recognition functionality
- Managing user quotas and membership benefits
- Improving product features and user experience
- Sending important service notifications (such as password reset emails)
3. Data Storage and Security
3.1 Data Storage
- Account data - Stored on Supabase cloud services (SOC 2 compliant)
- Screenshot data - Temporarily stored only during OCR processing; original images are not retained after processing
- Local data - Table cache data is stored in your browser locally and can be cleared at any time
3.2 Security Measures
- All data transmissions use HTTPS encryption
- User passwords are encrypted; we cannot view your original password
- Industry-standard security practices are employed to protect your data
4. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:
- Service providers - We use third-party services (such as Supabase for authentication, cloud servers for OCR processing) to provide our services
